Another Yummi cake with no carbs!

How nice it is creating new combinations of food melt them together and find a way to create a soft cake with no carbs, something so Metabolic that you can eat in your daily routine!!

Super omelette!!

Today I'm back to a good body weight so I think that lowering down a bit my daily calorie intake was the right choice!
56.2 kgs!

To celebrate this, here's my fantastic omelette created with this morning's creativity!

1 egg
10 gr shredded coconut
20 gr provola cheese, cubed
1 gr Matcha leaves in powder

Mmm...delicious!!!

First results coming!

So, my Body Fat % is 16.28
My lean mass is 54.10 %

Seems like average for a woman is 18-24% so it is pretty good!

First goal will be to reach 15% level, pretty hard but we'll work hard for it!

My metabolic diet seems to get better.

This weekend recharge lead me to a weight of 57.7 this morning and is very good compared to the past week's recharges! 

So, noticed that recharging from sat lunch to sunday evening is a good option and my carbs level from diary were very few (cheese on sunday morning, pistacchio ice on sunday evening) and had a couple of slices of cakes (no cream on then: apple pie and marmalade cake).
So, I had my good portion of good cakes...which I really do love.

My sat lunch was about grille fatty meat and few polenta so I stated in the metabolic rate. No wine on sat!
A couple of cups of wine on the sun morning.

That's it! A lot of tasty and a bit unhealthy food!

Monday morning weight: 57.7 kgs

- 0.3 kgs vs last recharge! ;)

After the 2nd recharge of Carbs

Hi there!
Seems like this time it got better!
I gained only 1 kg and hopefully, i will loose it by tomorrow.
What I noticed today, this morning is my great energy! I didn't feel tired at all, nor bloated!
On sat I did the recharge almost perfectlyy: 150 gr carbs, 40/50 gr of fat and low protein
Yesterday I did not my best by keepin high levels of carbs and fat too but low protein, somethin very hybrid but I did not eat too much so I probably kept the levels of eventual damages down!

I, of course am back on track, today!
Let's see what the scale will tell tomorrow!

Learn to create a meal with what you have!

Nowadays, life is so damn full of thinks to do, multitasking is not an option, but a must.
We ain't got that much time to take care of ouselves. Sometimes we even ain't got time to go to the supermarket!

Tonight I felt really full of energy and it is the 2nd week of metabolic diet with low daily carbs intake! 
So, reasons for this energy could be the re-entry of Alcalin-oti (calcium, magnesium, potassium, bicarbonate) in my diet and the use of protein beef powder for today'snacks!

I literally kicked ass in the gym tonight!

Here's my dinner!

Shirataki 150 gr (rehydratated pasta)
Spices (black pepper, mango powder)
Evo oil
Soy 


Tasted really good! Again, low carbs, high fibers!

Flax seed in case of fiber deficiencies

So, there's one thing so far I have noticed about my metabolic diet! Being the diet poor of Cho, I am having too few calories in fibers! Too low for letting me going to the bath regularly. That could really become a serious problem, stopping me from getting results from this meticulous programme.

So, flax seed could be a good solution and I have started taking 10 gr/day in a glass of water being held there for an entire night.

First thing in the mornig is half of a lemon juice with water (lighly hot)
And a glass of those seeds.

Getting better today, so I'll mantain this new entry for the next days in order to normalize the situation.

Tomorrow'snacks

So, tomorrow I'll have those two snacks

1 - in the morning

20 gr Parmigiano Reggiano
80 gr Cucumber
4 gr almonds

2 - in the evening

80 gr Cucumber
10 gr mayo
10 gr peanuts

Shirataki rice!

This dinner was very satisfactory!

Shirataki rice 50 gr.
Green pepper 15 gr
Black pepper
Chicken Wurstel 150 gr
Fucus 2 gr
E.v.o. Oil

So delicious!

Do you know tgat Shirataki is a root? It is completely low calorie food! 
Domething like 6 gr carbs per 100 gr!
That's all it has! Total kcalories? 24!!

It contains glucomannan that seems like it can stimulate the absorbtion of the carbs. 

It's like a little miracle, isn't it?

It does not taste like pasta but it's a good substitute. 
You somehow feel like you're having some pasta for dinner, but you don't and you are only taking 24 kcal i.o. 200!!

Simply fantastic!! And you know what? It seems very light at taste, like if you're eating something so delicate, even if I added lots of spices you'll still have the sensation of have eaten something light!

You won't get up full and bloated like you would have done after having eated some pasta, with the same ingredients I used.

Tryyyyyyyyyyyy it!!

Wrapping scrub for water retention loss

Hi there!

Being on a period, is not that easy for a woman!
It always end up with a bad mood, bloated belly and of course, water retention on our legs!!
This is the worst period ever of the month!
You gotta fight against sadness, irritability, wild mood swings!
And of couse, you think you have worked hard for so long, for nothing! :)
Thank God, those bad feelings have an end too!
So, to repair a bit the damage done by hormones, I tried to wrap my legs and glutes with an homemade scrub rich in essential oils that helping letting out the exceeding water.

So...

Sunflower oil
Coffee powder
Hymalayan salt
Various essential oils (see the picture).

Emergency workout plan

Hi there!
Unlucky day, today, for me! 
Did not make in going to the gym but I decided not to skip my daily workout and go with the b-plan creating my workout at home with what I have...

Check this out:

150 jumps at the skip rope

Circuit

Hip extensions on 4 - till failure (60 reps)
Standing hip extensions 60 reps
Straight leg dead lifts 50 reps w/5 kilos dumbbell/hand
Bridges 50 reps
Squats (ass to the grass) 50 reps w/dumbbells 5 kilos/hand

1st time - right leg only
2nd time - left leg only
3rd time - right leg followed by left leg (for the 1st two exercises)

Jumping rope - 150 jumps

Total workout in 40 mins

I repeat, this was not my daily routine workout, but I don't have heavy weight at home so had to do high reps per exercise, this time!

Happy Metabolic Breakfast!

Started with a part of my daily intake of Cho - 5 gr out of 30.
Red fruits are one of the fruits with less sugar on it and they're rich in antioxidants.
Optimum source of Cho.

Back on track, day 2
I feel generally strong but stress is waiting for me at the corner!
In a short while people will finish their vacation and Milan will be back to its annual chaos! 
Today I didn't want to take Fucus with water, it's like drinking mud! Not that tasty, neither appealing, almost disgusting! :)

So, what did I do?
Mix of salads
Onion
Green olives
E.v.o. Oil
Pepper
Aaaaanf Fucus, just 3 gr!

Wooow!! Surprisingly delicious!

Listen to the signals

Ok, so had 1st weekend with the goal of recharging cho but failed!
I have two things that might have negatively influenced the proof-of-the-scale moment.
One is that I was in my period, the first and worst days, the second is my mistake: had too much total Cho!
So % of macro this time should have been like Cho 35-50% Pro 15-20% Fat 25-40%
So, apparently I kept my diet in those parameters but, total kcal of Cho were too much by the end of the day.
The suggestion was 135-140 gr
I took 190-220 gr instead!!
So, while I should have been ok, I found myself boubcing back to + 3 kilos!
And that's really frustrating but, I'm already back to the week regimen and I know I'll be fine in a couple of days!
What I learned is that I need a plan, also for those weekends, otherwise I'll surely do the same mistakes again!
Gotta be focused and try to select from those Cho I would love to eat me on those days and pick them up one by one and try to observe the reaction of my body after have eaten them!
So, more consciousness, more focused, less distracted by freedom sensation!

Paraffin Wax for Hand and Feet!

Hi!
It's been a hard day at work and I trained hard in the gym! I'm in my period...what else, then? :)
I ate my dinner and prepared me a paraffin mask for my hands and feet while I was putting me the Rose Petal mask on my face.
Paraffin, it creates a kind of protector barrier and it enriches your dry skin.
It can be very useful when the winter is so unstandable and dry your skin!
Tomorrow I'll have the first two days of re_charge of Carbs...
Gotta be careful and try to hear my body's signals.
We'll see!

'Moooorning!!

My today's breakfast is satisfactory enough!

1 egg
5 gr shredded coconut
50 gr blueberries
5 gr whipped cream
A bit of cinnamon


The way you change your plates

Thanks to Metabolic Diet I'm getting used in thinking in a different way.
The portion of each macronutrient is completely different compared to the Mediterranean Diet.
Here Carbs are very low (30 gr/die), fat are very high (only the good one) and protein are higher than what is normally recommended.
No recepie, here has these macros combined in the just said quantity.
That might be complicated but, in the reality what generates is a renewed will of experimenting new combination of food and I am feeling really challenged about it and am succeding in it!! :)
See this little snack I prepared for tomorrow!

Blueberries 80 gr
Carnivor Beef Protein 19 gr.
Whipped Cream 15 gr

A total of 180 kcal
Good fats, a portion of protein and a bit of sugar

This will help me in my workout at the gym tomorrow

Peanut water!

Ho ho ho!!
I discovered sonething amazing!!
Do you remember my homemade peanut butter? Well, do you remember we let the peanuts boilin in water for almost 1 hr?
Well, that water...that water...I kept it aside for some experiments but had no idea at that moment!
Today I was cooking me a couple of chicken sticks and used it when a bit of water needed to be added (u know, when u try to avoid that the pan got burned!) and, surprise suprise: it made a sort of delicious salty dip that made the chicken sticks very yummi!!! 

Rest Day!! How important it is!

Hi there!
Rest day, for me, today!
After a couple of good workouts it is time to let muscles stop from training and get rhe deserved rest.
I used to train 5-6 days/week in the past months and though I read almost everywhere that doing too mich is too much, I still needed to do that more!
Now I want to be patient, respect my body and mind and as I am enjoying my iperlipidic and iperproteic & ipoglucidic diet, I need to do everything possible by limiting eventual stressing factors of the multitasking daily routine.
Sometimes we reach a plateau in our diet/workout programme. Stress produces cortisol that might be no. 1 reason why we are not having any results even if we stick to our diet. Cortisol could ruin everything!
So, becoming to be aware of our weak-points and change our bad attitudes and behaviours before they start ruining our hard work is the most important thing to do!

Saint Fucus (Algae Brunae)

Oh yes!!
First thing in the morning to clean you up from the inside and prepare your body to a wonderful day of clean eating is having a glass of water along with fresh lemon juice!
I recently added a glass of water along with 5 gr of Fucus and 5 gr of psyllium and today was a great day!
This is a great solution if you suffer of costipation.
Great sources of fibers, also helps you in your weight loss programme!
*** Fucus is not advidable when you have problems with thyroid, it could even worsen the situation ***

Healthy fats helps you stay happy and strict to your diet without suffering

I'm really enjoying my 'small quantities of everything' plan. I'm obtainig great results.

In 7 days of diet I got rid of excess water (- 5 kilos) and now it's time to get rid of that f*#}@ng fat! 

Metabolic diet seems to be satisfactory enough as diet. 

I still eat heatlhy fats and those fats help me feeling like I'm not on a ipocaloric regimen. 

A bit of everything is the key for everything, even for an extreme people like me! :)

Homemade Peanut Butter (no added crap on it)


How to make it? 
Veeeeery simple!!
I put 100 gr of peanuts on a tin with water and let it boil for almost 1 hour.
After that I took the peanuts, added 1 spoon and 1/2 of extra virgin olive oil + water of the cooked peanuts till satisfaction.
Added a non sodic salt for a bit of salty taste and used the mixer to reach the desired cream!

Sleeping is important when your goal is to lose weight

I haven't slept a wink tonight, nada, niente, not a single second!
This morning it was so hard, mainly when you have to mantain your eyes wide open and your concentration very high, and you're sit on your desk the all day long!
But I decided to resist and not to skip my workout day abd I made it! 
I used lighter weights for some excercise, heavier for other but I decided not to skip a single set!
I went home and eat dinner and prepared tomorrow's meals too.
I am doing good now and I'm having my cup of Urtica Dioica good for digestion while it also helps you eliminate some water.

Strawberry smoothie with whipped cream


A snack in the metabolic diet could satisfy your needs in terms of taste and cravings for sweet. By Limiting the quantity of each ingredient to the right portion you will still remain in track while experiencing your lovely satisfactory sensations of a sweet taste!
You gotta use your fantasy!
So here is what I prepared me for my sat evening snack:
Strawberry smoothy with whipped cream
No added sugar needed
We all should learn to taste things as they  are, with their original natural taste;
otherwise we'll never be able to distinguish a good, natural and healthy product from an adulterated one!

Total calories gr 150

Fat gr 10
Cho gr 5
Pro gr 3


Hair nutrients: Cannabis sativa oil +e.o. Of Rosemary, lavendula, patchouli, cypress+your conditioner (after shampoo)


Sweet orange and Ylang Ylang for your scrub!

Alternatives to the scrub I made in these days are many.
Sweet orange in combination with Ylang Ylang has the perfect smell!
So, I put Extra Virgin Olive Oil this time, hymalayan salt, coffee powder (used) and those two essential oils + mentha that is good when it comes to stimulate tonification of the legs (3 gtt of s.o., 2 gtt of y.y., 3 gtt of mentha)
I'll try to put more s.o. Gtt and 1 gtt of y.y. To find the perfect smell for my taste.
You all know, personal tastes are important to follow and if we prefer an odour i/o another it might be because our body needs that specific element that is contained in an engredient.
Feel our body's signals, our primary goal!
Once we learn too feel them without fiters and foggy feelings, we're almost done!

Dispersing - blooming Bath Oil

Hello again!
When you have to fight against fat and water retention, there's no miracle potion out there, only imaginary-life-saver-products with their enchanting packages, attractive smells but very poor natural and efficient ingredients! What we can do to save our money and love ourselves a bit more is to try to make our own products and controlling the origin of each ingredient used, for our safety.
A sinergic work is recommended to get some results.
It is no secret that being focused on our goals helps us being more mentally involved in the process of our personal success. If we don't have the goal in our mind, then it is pretty easy to loose concentration.
So, after having used my scrub I can also  try this bath oil who is enriched with healthy ingredients.
Here is the list (in case you wanna try to do it on your own):
Sunflower oil gr. 73
Caprylyl/capryl glucoside (emulsifier) gr. 20
Betula Alba extract gr. 5
Essential olis (grapefruit, sweet orange, lemongrass, rosehip, eucalipt)

Massage oil with birch bark extracts

Hi there!!
So, I have made this wonderful massage oil with the intention of stimulate circulation and help getting rid of exceeding water retention that I hate the most, expecially because I'm always on a controlled diet and I do not usually skip a work-out even in the worst periods.

So here are the ingredients:
Rice oil gr. 50
Carrot oil gr. 12
Macadamia oil gr. 18
Apricot kernel oil gr. 10
Betula Alba extract gr. 6,5
Vitamin E gr. 2
Essential oils (lemongrass, fenbel, juniper, cypress, eucalipt, mentha, lemon, sweet orange, grapefruit).

Chin-up and jumping rope

My today work-out had a set of chin-up melted with other exsercises, part a circuit training. 
I love chin-ups, my arms are reacting in a positive way and I feel a bit more confident with this excercise!
These are 'men-thing' and you gotta fight for your piece of work on the machine. But I had great buddies, sharing machine with me without looking me as a 'lady' who can only do aerobic step couses!

4th Day - gym is always the best choice

So, today I woke up and my weight went back to the old good 57.7 where I was before having a long cheating weekend.

What did I learn from this? 
Well, 1st of all I got problems with CHO and increasing too much their daily intake and, even worst, increasing for days put me in a condition to gain a lot of wait in just a few days (3.5 kgs in 4 days)!!
2nd, when you're on diet, I mean, when you're on a controlled regimen and you're in there for a long period, you can easily go back in track in a few days of right-eating&training.
Now it's time to move forward! Once get back to the right start, it's time to set our goals again.
Gym gives me strenght of body and mind  !

How I feel today? 3rd day of the Metabolic Diet!

Feeling better today! The higher level of good fat I've added are making me feeling full enough to wait till the next meal without suffering! That's pretty good!!

I also went back to gym today and as it always happen on training days, just right after the routine work-out my endorphines help me feeling happier!

Homemade scrub fighting water retention

Very easy, quick and economic! 
I used: a bit of sunflower oil, a bit of hymalayan salt, coffee and 4 different essential oils, just a few drops each (foeniculum vulgare, grapefruit, lemon, mentha piperita).
My skin is softly clean and fully moistorized now! 😊

40 mins work-out/when the gym is closed...

Yesterday I had a bad surprise: I was ready to work hard on the gym with my new workout but discovered, once in front of the entry that it was still closed!!
Got home, decided to run (55 mins) and while running I elaborated this workout:

Circuit training (5x5) of each:

Push up 5 reps+
Retro+lateral lunge 5 reps+
Trazioni presa inversa 5 reps+
Step up 5 reps+
Plank 1 min con gambe alternate+

+ 300 jumps at the jumping rope+
(5x5)
Alzate spalle 5 reps+
Hip thrusts gamba alz 5 reps+
Row indietro 5 reps+
Squats 5 reps+
Plank laterale 1 min tot+

+ 300 jumps at the jumping rope.

The whole workout took me less than 40 mins...and it would have been much more effective if I had heavier weights at home, or, at list some alternatives...but I guess is a very good workout, done with correct weights!
So, here we are: 2nd day!!

Improving


METABOLIC DIET / Di Pasquale

Hi there, seems like today is the right day to start this diet seriously! Thought I've tried a lot of different diets and I can confirm (after having tested) which is the right one to choose and follow if you want to keep yourself on the right side of the "healthy eating" and "healthy life", now I need to test this one! We all know that we should never constrain ourselves to do things we are not that naturally willing to do but, through the efforts done in the past while attempting to stay focused on diets I followed I also learned that sometimes we do things 'naturally' just because we always did and not because we really choose to do them. It's very important to understand this key point! What we call "choices" are not that personal, nor ours! Our minds are so manipulated and wrongly stimulated, sometimes that we might think to have taken a decision by ourselves but we didn't! So, don't want to make it that long but I will start this new diet based on the fact that I really want to "manipulate" my shape somehow, the way I love and I will personally tell you if it is working or not through the days.
